UAE, Indonesia to jointly fight human trafficking

The UAE and the Republic of Indonesia on Sunday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on combating the human trafficking. The MoU was signed between the UAE's National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking and its counterpart Indonesian counterpart at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The MoU comes on the sidelines of the official visit by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, to the country. It was signed by Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, and Indonesian Foreign Minister Retjenu Mar Soda.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ahmed Abdullah Al-Musalli, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia.
