The UAE Embassy in Addis Ababa, Jakarta and the Consulate-General of the UAE in Hong Kong have issued cautionary advisories to their citizens visiting or residing in these countries. This is due to the prevalence of adverse conditions in these countries.
The advisories have been issued by the entities on their official Twitter accounts.

The UAE Embassy in Ethiopia has called on all citizens to exercise caution and to move away from the southern region of Ethiopia, especially in the Awassa region. This is due to the outbreak of violence in the province and the declaration of a state of emergency.
People have been asked to call on +251113203680 or +83 00251935999008 in case of emergency.
The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Jakarta has also asked the Emiratis to stay away from the Tangkuban Perahu mountain area in Subang, West Java, due to a volcanic eruption that took place on Friday, July 26, 2019. The citizens have been asked to contact the embassy in case of emergency or call + 62 215206528 for assistance.
Lastly, the Consulate-General of the United Arab Emirates in Hong Kong has instructed the citizens of the UAE, to take precautions and avoid places near government and private buildings during weekends, follow the news and instructions of local authorities, and also not wear white and black clothes.
It has also called upon citizens to contact them in emergency cases on the following number 0085228661823 or call the Ministry of Foreign Affairs call center at 80044444, and also register their presence in the country.
