Nurturing talents of the new generation and supporting their positive energies in all fields is the best preparation for the future, a UAE minister has said.
Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, said his ministry harnesses its full potential to achieve this goal through partnerships with all segments and institutions of the UAE society.
He said this during a ceremony to honour the winners of the Distinguished School Award launched by the ministry in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
He stressed that the celebrations honouring the winners of the Distinguished School Award embodies the depth of the partnership between culture and education over many years for the benefit of future generations.
He said this is one of the most important goals of the wise leadership represented by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The event was attended by Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, and other senior officials.
