Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked UAE leaders for their congratulatory messages on winning a historic third term in the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
President Sheikh Mohamed had congratulated Modi on his re-election on Wednesday. Posting on X, he had wished him success in “leading India to further progress and growth”.
He had said he also looked forward to the two nations' continued collaboration, and highlighted the strategic partnership between the UAE and India.

The President had also tweeted in Hindi, and reiterated “advancing shared developmental goals of the two nations”.
Responding to President Sheikh Mohamed's message, Modi on Friday said he looked forward to working with him ”to achieve unprecedented heights in the years to come”.
“Thank you dear brother @MohamedBinZayed for your warm words. Building on the high momentum and upward trajectory of India-UAE ties in the recent years, I look forward to working with you to achieve unprecedented heights in the years to come,” Modi posted on X.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, too, had taken to X to congratulate Modi on his re-election.
He expressed his trust in Modi's leadership, and hoped for continued economic progress in India.
In his response to the Dubai Ruler's wishes, Modi remarked that the Dubai Ruler’s “affection for India” and his “exemplary leadership” have been a source of great strength for their ties
“Thank you, Your Highness, for your warm wishes. Your affection for India and your exemplary leadership have been a source of great strength for our ties. Look forward to our continued engagement in the coming years,” Modi posted on X on Friday.
