UAE probe team transcribes flydubai audio

The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority has announced that investigators from the Air Accident Investigation Sector (AAIS), along with the US National Transportation Safety Board and their technical advisors and the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) are now in the process of analysing and transcribing the available data from the flight recorders of the ill-fated flydubai aircraft that crashed in Rostov-on-Don on March 19.
The cockpit voice recorder (CVR) group met on Tuesday afternoon to begin the analysis of the cockpit voice recordings, and aircraft wreckage was moved to a secure area where investigators are currently carrying out an initial examination.
"The harmonized efforts deployed by experts from IAC, AAIS, NTSB, FAA, and Boeing will be very helpful during the course of the investigation," said Saif Mohamed Al Suwaidi, the Director General of the General Civil Aviation Authority.
"The Russian investigation team, as well as the UAE investigation team, will work continuously in full cooperation with the other parties to progress the investigation and all collected data and information will be given diligent consideration," added Ismaeil Al Hosani, Assistant Director General of the Air Accident Investigation Sector.
