UAE residents can have ice cream at their doorstep today

Dubai - On July 15, Uber users throughout the UAE will be able to use the Uber app to request a delivery of ice cream bars to their locations - the bars will be delivered within minutes, via cars and even on jet skis!

UAE residents can now have ice cream delivered right at their doorsteps! Technology app Uber is teaming up with Magnum ice cream to work out this cool service this summer. 
On July 15, Uber users throughout the UAE will be able to use the Uber app to request a delivery of ice cream bars to their locations - the bars will be delivered within minutes, via cars and even on jet skis! 
Uber users in the UAE can open the app between 2pm and 6pm on July 15, set their location, and choose the Ice Cream option in the app by sliding right. Available vehicles will then promptly deliver the treats. 
As part of the promotion, six bars of Magnum Ice Cream will be available for Dh40. Users are requested to join #UberIceCream early, due to the high expected demand and limited availability. 
The celebration is part of Uber's annual #UberIceCream Day, on which Magnum bars will be delivered on demand in 30 countries and hundreds of cities across six continents. #UberIceCream Day will be held in the US, England, India, Philippines, Canada, UAE, Turkey, and many other global locations. 
Ice cream deliveries are the latest in a series of events by Uber in the UAE, which have already seen a luxurious Uber Yacht party, Uber helicopter rides, and Uber rides in a high-performance Lamborghini Aventador with British driver Oli Webb.
