The UAE Space Agency has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Kingdom Space Agency to facilitate short and long term collaboration between the two agencies.
The MoU was signed in London during a visit this week by a delegation which included Dr Khalifa Al Romaithi, Chairman of the UAE Space Agency and Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Ahbabi, director-general of the UAE Space Agency, who met their British counterparts.
The MoU covers collaboration in various aspects of space exploration, including science, technology, applications, law and human capital development in the field.
In addition, the MoU encourages the establishment of joint working groups to define proposals for joint programmes. Britain's Ambassador to the UAE, Philip Parham, said the MoU opens the door to endless possibilities of cooperation and partnership between the two nations.
