His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today arrived in Riyadh to participate in the summit between GCC leaders and Morocco, with the attendance of King Mohammed VI of Morocco, and the GCC leaders' summit United States President Barack Obama, on Thursday.
Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed was received at King Salman Air Force Base Airport by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.
He was also received by Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier, and Minister of Defence, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud, and other senior government officials.
During a brief session, Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed exchanged cordial greetings with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and discussed brotherly and strategic relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing them to serve the common interests.
He also conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to his brother, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, wishing the Saudi people continuous progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, the Saudi King asked Shaikh Mohamed to also convey his greetings to Shaikh Khalifa, wishing the UAE more prosperity, progress and development.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince is accompanied by a delegation which includes Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and other government officials.
