Dubai - The Police chief applauded the officers for their commitment.

Dubai Police has honoured officers for going beyond the line of duty to help a stranded cabbie in heavy rains.
The force tweeted that Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police had applauded the two young cops, Sergeant Saeed Ibad Qasim Muthana and Abdullatif Dhaif Allah Ali Saleh, for their humane act.
In the video, the officers can be seen stopping their patrol vehicle on the side of the road amid heavy downpour to help a cabbie, whose taxi had broken down.
Major Al Marri praised their efforts, discipline and commitment.
They were both awarded certificates of recognition for their outstanding performance.
