Four warehouses in Ajman were gutted in a massive fire on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. No casualties have been reported.
Brigadier Abdullaziz Al Al Shamsi Director General of Ajman Civil Defense, said that the authorities were alerted about the incident around noontime. They were assisted in the firefighting operation by the officials from the Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain Civil Defence.
Firefighters of the Ajman Civil Defence were able to put the blaze under control, though cooling operations are expected to continue until evening.
