A fire broke out in Dubai's Sonapur area on Saturday.
According to videos and photos sent by a resident to Khaleej Times - plumes of smoke could be seen coming out from a building in a Sonapur labour camp earlier in the day.
Rescue teams immediately reached the site of the fire, including Dubai Civil Defence and ambulance services, after receiving information about the incident.
According to initial details, the fire erupted in beds on the second floor of a labour accommodation in Sonapur 2.
Dubai Police Rescue and firefighters from Qusais Civil Defence station arrived at 12:45 pm and managed to douse the fire by 12:53 pm, followed by the cooling operation and at 1:05 pm.

Firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading. No injuries were reported.
Car catches fire on Ittihad Road
On the other side of the city, Civil Defence also put out a fire which erupted in a car on Ittihad road from Al Shola intersection towards Al Habtoor Motors.
The driver managed to get out of the car unharmed.
