Video: Heavy rain causes traffic jams on UAE roads

Heavy rains that evaded Dubai over the weekend and flooded other emirates have been putting a toll on the roads this morning.
Multiple traffic jams have been reported on roads leading to the Dubai International Airport. People are advised to leave their homes early, in order to avoid missing a flight due to traffic.
According to Google Maps, the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road is also heavily congested this morning and slow moving traffic has been reported on the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road heading towards Sharjah and University City in the emirate. 
Motorists heading from Dubai to Sharjah are witnessing dense traffic all the way towards the Al Wahda street.
Heavy rains have also led to traffic on the Khail Road in Dubai.
