Dubai International Airport has cemented its position as the world's busiest airport for international passengers. This year, the airport expects to receive 89 million passengers. 
With the tag of being the busiest comes the onus of foolproof fire safety. On International Firefighters Day, Dubai Airports shared a video underlining its readiness to handle any challenge.

Dubai airport has one of the largest and advanced airport fire services with over 25 vehicles in its fleet. It has the fastest fire engine of its size on the planet: the 45 tonne Colet Jaguar with a top speed of 120mph, accelerating from 0 to 60 in 15 seconds.  
On the front line are 430 brave firefighters, the size of a city fire brigade. Each firefighter receives up to 2,000 hours of training every year. 
The control room is always alert and ready to respond to any emergencies within two minutes, securing the safety of passengers at Al Maktoum International Airport and Dubai International Airport.
