This year, the organiser of the exhibition, Emirates' Falconers Club with the support of Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee-Abu Dhabi, has changed the rules on buying weapons at the exhibition.
For security reasons, only buyers registered in advance and cleared by the police may purchase firearms.

Altogether, there are 40 exhibitors in the special firearm section of Adihex, 15 of whom are from the UAE.
Most of these exhibitors are not new to Adihex, and among some of the returning weapon makers is Fausti, an Italian company that still crafts hand-engraved rifles and pistols.
