Dubai Police's patrol fleet comprising supercars and luxury cars has made headlines all over the world and become quite the attraction for motorheads, both in the UAE and internationally. If the Lamborghini Aventador and Bentley Continental GT weren't enough - the force recently added the new Nissan Patrol and GTR sports car - to it's growing super luxurious fleet of patrol cars.
Nissan GTR and Nissan Patrol join Dubai Police fleet of super patrol cars The new patrol cars were announced when Major General Khamis Mattar Al Muzainah, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police received Mr. Khalid Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani, Vice Chairman of the A.W. Rostamani Group.H.E. Al Muzainah said that Dubai Police Force has always sought, through the introduction its fleet of supercars, to enhance the security of the emirate.It is worth noting that, the Arabian Automobiles Company (AAC) was established in the year 1968, as part of the AW Rostamani business conglomerate, and the sole distributor of Nissan Cars and Genuine Nissan Parts in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Over the years, AAC has emerged to be among the top players in the Automobile sector with market leadership in certain pivotal segments of the vehicle market.

In recent years, since 2013, Dubai Police has added the following supercars and luxury cars to it's fleet 'to enhance the security of the emirate'. The 'envious' list includes:

- Four Audi A6 executive sedans
- Porsche Panamera
- Lexus GS
- 2 BMW i8
- Mercedes Brabus G-wagon
- McLaren MP4-12C
- Nissan GTR
- Nissan Patrol
- Ford Mustang Roush
- BMW M6 Gran Coupe
- Porsche 918 Spyder
Even the ambulance service got it's own supercars to reach those in distress - faster! They acquired two Ford Mustangs in 2014.
The force also got a speed boat to patrol the busy Dubai creek and sea.

The Dubai Police believes that a luxurious city such as Dubai requires a luxurious fleet of patrol cars, which patrol areas frequented by tourists as well as escorting participants during events such as the recent Dubai Tour 2016.
