Dubai's first permanent aqua based show: Le Perle is all set to create a boom later this year. Produced by the cultural creation company Dragone, it will be held in the new Al Habtoor City. In a custom built state -of-the-art aqua theatre, the show will feature 65 world class artists who will perform aqua and aerial feats with the assistance of 70 specialized technicians.
According to laperle.com, about 450 performances shall be held in a year in the theater with 1,300 seat capacity. Two shows will be held each day.
A giant pool of 2.5 million litres of water powered with hydraulic lifts and fountains transform a dry stage to aqua stage.

-The speed of every dive will be between 85 to 100 kilometres per hour.
- Artists will dive from a height of 35 metres into the aqua-stage.
- The aqua-stage holds 2.5 million litres of water - enough to fill an olympic pool.
- Artists will fly from a tower weighing a whopping 60 tonnes. That's the weight of a Boeing 737.
- During every performance, artists will at one point experience more G-force than an astronaut at take off.
