Dust, strong winds and sandstorms hit the UAE this weekend. The local met department (NCMS) has issued a warning regarding this weekend's weather conditions.
Rain hit parts of the country, including Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah among other areas.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution on the roads. Residents are advised to cover the mouth and faces when going out.

The NCMS has been updating their twitter page with reports about rains in parts of Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Al Ain and other places.
As of writing, the parts of the UAE are currently experiencing strong winds and sandstorms. Rain is also expected as winds almost always precede rainfall. Motorists and weekenders are advised to drive carefully as visibility is extremely limited due to dust rising from the earth due to winds.

According to the weather report, unstable weather is set to continue this weekend after it had prevailed during the week. Rain is scattered over the country with the emirates of Dubai, Sharjah and Ras al Khaimah experiencing showers during the wee hours of Friday morning.

Residents are therefore advised to be prepared for rain at all times by bringing their umbrellas. Rainfall is expected throughout the day.
