British pop icon George Michael took to the stage at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on the last stop of his 25 Live tour. His concert wowed music fans on December 1, 2008.
Michael, who rocketed to stardom with WHAM! and went on to enjoy a long and celebrated solo career lined with controversies, died on Sunday, his publicist said. He was 53.
His concert in Abu Dhabi came as UAE celebrated its 37th National day in 2008, which was an extravaganza of fireworks, lasers and spectacular live music.
