The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a yellow warning for dust on Tuesday, July 2, as majority of the country experiences a fair to partly cloudy weather.

The Met cautioned against a decline in horizontal visibility over some internal areas, which may drop to less than 2000m at times until 7.30pm today.

The winds are expected to be fresh to strong at times with speed of 50kmph, causing blowing dust and sand. Earlier in the day, the weather department noted that light to moderate winds, freshening at times during daytime are expected to blow in the country, causing dust, especially westward.

It is likely to be humid by night and Wednesday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of fog or mist formation.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Temperatures are expected to go up to 45℃ in Abu Dhabi, and 44℃ in Dubai. Humidity is expected to range between 10 per cent to 85 per cent in Abu Dhabi, and 15 per cent to 80 per cent in Dubai.
