UAE weather: Partly cloudy, chances of rainfall by Wednesday evening

The mercury will dip to 4ºC in mountainous regions, and will be as low as 16ºC in Abu Dhabi and 18ºC in Dubai

The weather across the UAE today is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, particularly over northern, eastern, and coastal regions. As the day progresses, cloud cover will increase, especially by evening, with a possibility of rainfall in certain areas.

Temperatures will remain mild throughout the day, with the humidity levels expected to rise during the night and early Thursday morning, especially over internal areas. This increase in humidity may lead to a slightly uncomfortable feel for some residents in those areas.

Fog alerts have been issued in several parts of Abu Dhabi; visibility in some areas will drop below 1,000m due to fog and mist formation. Motorists are urged to slow down and follow the reduced speed limit, which has been activated on some external roads in the Abu Dhabi territory.

Light to moderate winds are expected, though they may freshen at times, particularly along coastal and open areas. As night falls, the sea will become rough in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea will remain slight throughout the day.

It will be as high as 28ºC in internal areas. The mercury in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will hit 26ºC and 27ºC, respectively.

On Thursday, residents could expect similar weather conditions, with humidity persisting in the early morning hours, particularly over inland areas. Cloud cover may continue to build, with occasional rain likely in some regions.
