There is a chance of rainfall today in some areas of the country as per a forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology.

The NCM issued red and yellow alerts for thick fog in parts of the country, with a drop in horizontal visibility expected until 10am on Thursday.

Skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some Eastern and Northern areas.

Humid conditions will prevail by night and Friday morning with humidity levels hitting 90 per cent in some areas of the country. Fog or mist may also form over some internal areas.

Temperatures will range between 16°C and 25°C in Abu Dhabi, and between 19°C and 26°C in Dubai. Lowest temperature in the country will be observed at 6°C in mountainous parts of the country and reach a high of 28°C in internal areas.

There will be light to moderate winds, freshening at times. These winds will blow in a northeasterly to northwesterly direction, with a speed of 15kmph to 25kmph, reaching 35kmph.

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
