There's more to Mexican than nachos
Getting bored of my daily diet of curries and fast food, and the occasional South East Asian meal, I decided to try out Mexican for a change of taste. Going one step further of nachos and quesadillas, I went around town to find some hidden gems. Here's what I discovered. My first stop was El Chico at The Walk, JBR.
This places serves amazing enchiladas. For instance, their Enchilada Dinner (Dh54) will leave you thoroughly satisfied. Have it with spicy beef and chilli con carne or spinach and chicken with sour cream sauce and it's sure to excite your taste buds! A friend suggested I try the tacos at Rosa Mexicano in Dubai Mall and I was not disappointed.
These guys customise their tacos with a range of delicious fillings to make it appealing for everyone. No Mexican food journey is complete without guacomole and La Taqueria at Business Bay know how to prepare it right. They do it just like it's done at home in Mexico. And their heavenly Churros (Dh15) made the trip worth it.
