The 39-year-old woman, holder of a visit visa, was arrested around 2:00am on June 11 after she raised the suspicions of a customs inspector.
"She arrived at the inspection point at around 2:00am. I saw that she had travelled Business Class. She had no luggage but only a handbag. She claimed she had just come to visit her family and purchase some goods and that she was to stay for three days," the officer told the prosecutor.

The traveler denied to the officer she was carrying any money or what needed to be declared. "She claimed she had only Dh300. I asked my female colleague to search her," the customs inspector said.
A large quantity of medically prescribed pills was found hidden in a careful way and strapped around the woman's body under her clothes.

She was then referred to the anti-narcotics police department.
Two types of medically prescribed pills were seized from her.
She admitted during the public prosecution investigation that she was coming from Pakistan and knew the pills were banned and claimed she was smuggling them for another woman so to hand them over to a man here for a sum of money.
A verdict is expected on September 27.
