World's fastest driverless motorcycle makes a stop in Dubai

NERVE, one of the world's leading innovative technology companies, is showcasing the world's fastest driverless motorcycle at Gulf Traffic 2016.
Developed by NERVE, the Autonomous Street Racer motorcycle is the world-record holder in its class for acceleration times, reaching speeds of 300 km/h.
Taking part as Smart Mobility Sponsor at this year's conference, NERVE will also be displaying some of the company's very latest in electric and autonomous vehicle technology, set to disrupt urban transportation models all over the world. One example is NERVE's Smart Cruiser; a smart, green, tough, all-terrain, high-speed and multifunctional solar-powered vehicle with flawless suspension and integrated robot technology.

His insights and case studies are expected to fuel discussions about how technology can be used to drive Dubai's ambition to become a Smart City. Commenting from the sidelines of the conference, Founder and CTO Soeren O. Ekelund said: "These are really exciting times in the world of transport and mobility. Sustainable development is forcing everyone in the industry to rethink the concept of public and private transportation. It's no longer sufficient to think about how a vehicle meets the needs of an individual, how it gets him or her from A to B. Rather, we need to consider the requirements of society as a whole".
He added: "The vehicles of the future have to be more flexible, stronger, faster, smarter and greener. It's a privilege to be part of this automotive revolution, and we're looking to Dubai very closely as a fertile breeding ground for the smart technologies of tomorrow".
During his tour at the exhibition, H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belheif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, made a stop at NERVE's booth where he was introduced to some of NERVE's newest creations. NERVE entered the Middle East market in 2016, choosing Dubai as its focal point for servicing the region.
The company is already forging strong relationships with public and private sector organizations who are interested in implementing the latest in electric and autonomous vehicle technology.
