Shabbir is 280cm tall, weighs 170kg and has a giant shoe size.

Shabbir was born in Faisalabad in Pakistan and now has his own business in Dubai.

Talking to Khaleej Times, he said he has lived a difficult life, mainly because of his abnormal height. His appetite is voracious, he has difficulty entering doors, and needs at least 11 metres of cloth to sew a suit.

The 'gentle giant' said he is very fond of Al Ain, the "Garden City of the Gulf", which he adores for its lush green sites and calmness.

"I attract big crowds wherever I go," he said, while referring to the curious onlookers in the Department of Naturalisation and Residency.

"Being the tallest man is a valuable gift from God. But the world is more suitable for persons with normal height," he emphasised.
