A 3-year-old Pakistani girl died after falling from the seventh floor of a building in Al Qasimiya area in Sharjah on Monday night.
According to the police, they received information about the incident at 9pm and rushed to the area where they found the girl in a pool of blood.
The police shifted the body of the girl to the forensic laboratory for further investigation.
Police said that the mother, who was shocked to know her daughter fell to death, also rushed to Al Kuwaiti hospital, as she fell into a coma.
The police said that the child was playing, while her mother was busy, and sneaked to the window before she fell down - despite the small opening.

The police have launched an investigation in to the incident to determine whether negligence caused the girl's death.
