Hot and hazy weather will continue in the UAE over the coming days, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
"The weather on Friday was fair in general, hazy and relatively hot during the day and mild by the evening. Hot and hazy weather will continue in the UAE. The temperatures will be more of the same like it has been on Friday, with the maximum of 38.8°C and the minimum of 13.6°C," said an official from the NCMS
The forecaster said there will be fresh to strong winds over scattered areas of the country on Saturday morning and that it will cause duststorm resulting into poor visibility. The active winds will decrease during the afternoon and throughout Sunday. "Light to moderate winds will help freshen up conditions over some areas on Sunday and Monday, but temperatures are expected to hit a high of 43°C, dipping to 16°C inland."
Humidity levels will rise to 85 per cent in coastal areas on Saturday, and range between 80 and 90 per cent inland. Winds will be fresh at times in the afternoon and will gradually decrease by the evening. On Sunday and Monday fog will cover parts of the UAE and will reduce visibility.
