Abu Dhabi - Police urge motorists to drive carefully as fog affects visibility
Thick fog covered almost all the parts of the UAE on Monday morning, affecting visibility.

Brace for foggy days ahead, temperature to rise
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), on its social media accounts, said the fog started in some coastal and internal areas at 11pm on Sunday. The fog formation is being spread to other parts and is expected to last till 11am on Monday.
Police authorities across the emirates urged motorists to experience caution while driving because of the reduced visibility. The Abu Dhabi Police announced reduced speed limit on major highways in the emirate. The police also urged motorists to follow speed limits displayed on electronic boards.
According to the official Twitter handle of the Abu Dhabi Police, speed reduction system is activated to 80kmph on Maktoum Bin Rashid road, Abu Dhabi - Dubai (Al Bahyah - Dubai), Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Intl road (Al Mafraq - Al Ruwais), Trucks road (Al Fayah), Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid road (Abu Dhabi - Dubai), Abu Dhabi - Al Ain road and Abu Dhabi – Sweihan road.
The NCM said fog engulfed areas over airports in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.
