Heavy rain has hit parts of Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah on Sunday afternoon.
The areas on Jumeirah, Lehbab and Jebel Ali in Dubai, Wadi Al helo, Khorfakkan and Dhaid in Sharjah, Ahfara West of Kalba and Wadi Maidaq in Fujairah, Maleha – Shawkah Rd and Al Manaie in Ras Al Khaimah, Emirates Road near to Al Helio area in Ajman have been hit by rain.
Partly cloudy weather, with a chance of rainfall had been forecast for the country by National Center of Meteorology in UAE, for Sunday.
The weather authority also issued a warning asking motorists and residents to exercise caution in case of heavy rain over some eastern areas of the country.
They are also advised to stay away from areas of flash floods and those where rain accumulates.
Light to moderate winds, freshening at times were also predicted to cause the blowing of dust with the sea being moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
