Light rain has been reported over parts of UAE on Thursday afternoon according to the latest updates from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
According to the NCM, rain occurred over Dibba and in the emirate of Fujairah.

UAE residents have been warned to be extra careful as winds kicked up dust and poor visibility to affect some parts of the country on Thursday from 5:00am till 6:30pm.
NCM has issued a weather alert to warn of poor horizontal visibility of less than 2,000 metres at times due to dust in suspension over scattered areas.
The cumulus clouds may increase over the eastern area in the afternoon with the possibility of rainfall on those areas. Temperatures may also decrease, according to the NCM.
The NCMS also warned that the sea will be rough over the Arabian Gulf offshore areas, especially the western areas. Beachgoers and residents are advised to be cautious while swimming in the various beaches in the region.
Dubai Police warned motorists via Twitter to take extra caution while driving during low visibility. Motorists are urged to take extra caution.
The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas. Sea will be rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough at times in the Oman sea.
Friday weather will be Hazy and partly cloudy at times, temperatures tend to decrease, Northwesterly to Southwesterly wind with speed from 15 - 25, reaching 35 Km/hr, Rough Sea during morning, becoming moderate by afternoon in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.

Saturday, Fair to partly cloudy weather and hazy at times over some areas, temperature tends to increase, Southeasterly to Northeasterly wind speed from 15 - 25, reaching 35 Km/hr at times, Slight to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Sunday, Hazy weather in general and partly cloudy at times over some areas especially eastwards, Southeasterly wind speed from 20 - 30, reaching 40 Km/hr at times, causing blowing dust/sand over the exposed areas, Moderate to Rough Sea at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
