Motorists were urged to take caution as heavy fog covered many parts of the country on Sunday morning, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
Fog was reported in different parts of the country in the early hours, including Al Dhaid in Sharjah, Al Ruwais and Ghayathi in Al Dhafrah area, Al Minhad, Al Lisaili, Lahbab and Nazwa in Dubai and over Dubai - Al Ain road.

Sharing today's weather report, the NCM said, "It will be fair in general in the and partly cloudy in the eastward by afternoon with a probability of mist for fog formation."
The weather bureau added that there will be light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during the daytime.
Winds will veer southeasterly to northeasterly, 18- 28, reaching 38kmph at times in the internal areas during day time.
Temperatures will range from 41to 45°C in the interior regions, 38 to 42°C along the coast and 30 to 35°C in the mountains.
The relative humidity will increase by the night and Monday morning over some western areas. The maximum humidity would be 70 to 90 per cent across coastal, 70 to 90 per cent in interior regions and between 45 to 65 per cent in the mountains.
The sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
