The weather on Wednesday is expected to be fair to partly cloudy in general with increased relative humidity during nights, according to the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM).
"The wind will be light to moderate and will be southeasterly to northwesterly, with a speed of up to 40 kmph at times," NCM said. In a statement issued today, the NCM said that wave heights are expected to reach up to 7-feet high over Oman Sea until Thursday. Meanwhile, some roads near the coastal areas in the UAE were closed following high waves that resulted in water entering inland in the aftermath of Cyclone Kyarr. The flooding comes after the UAE weather department issued an alert regarding rough conditions in the Oman Sea.
