The National Center of Meteorology has urged sea-goers in the Arabian Gulf to take caution against strong northwesterly winds.
In a statement, the NCM said winds with a speed of 48 kmph will continue affecting the sea, with wave heights ranging from 6 to 9 feet until 8.00pm on Saturday.


The NCM has forecast a hazy day with blowing dust. The day will be partly cloudy to cloudy in general with a significant drop in the temperature.

As per the report on Saturday, the lowest temperature recorded over the country was 5.9 degree Celsius in Raknah at 4.15am.
Fresh Northwesterly winds might blow dust and sand over some exposed areas. Sea will be rough to very rough in Arabian Gulf and rough in Oman sea.
The weather will remain the same over the week.
