Mist covered parts of the UAE in the early hours of Friday with relatively hot and hazy conditions expected in the country.
The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has warned against fog formation that could bring visibility down to less than 1000m. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution.

The forecast for today is relatively hot in general during daytime, mild by night while being partly cloudy and hazy at times, the NCMS said.
The clouds will form over some eastern areas, becoming convective at times during afternoon, it said.
Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during afternoon and may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas. The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation.
Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
Maximum temperatures will surge to 42°C inland, with lows of 20°C expected in the mountains. Humidity levels could be as high as 90 per cent. They also said that these weather conditions are expected to continue until Sunday.
Moderate rainfall in Masafi, Ras Al Khaimah
Various parts of Ras Al Khaimah, particularly the northern and mountainous regions, received moderate showers on Thursday. The showers covered all roads of the Masafi area and several other parts of Ras Al Khaimah.

The RAK police have, meanwhile, deployed more patrols to ensure traffic flow and recover stuck and non-functioning vehicles, if any.

"All motorists need to be alert, focus and careful, and reduce speed on the road during the rain. Seafarers, beach and valley goers, and motorists are still urged to be more cautious during the unstable weather," according to police sources.
Residents of the areas that are exposed to pouring rain and strong winds, are requested to be careful, and immediately call (999) in case of emergency, they urged.
