Blueberry Bonanza
Prep time: 10 mins
Serves: 1
Ingredients
1 ½ cup frozen blueberries
½ cup frozen banana
½ cup almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
3 pcs pitted dates
To top:
6 blackberries
6 raspberries
1 edible flower, to garnish
Method
In a blender, add blueberries, banana, almond milk, almond butter and dates.
Blend for 5-6 mins, stir when needed.
Once fully blended, add to bowl; top with blackberries, raspberries and an edible flower. Decorate as desired. Serve.
NOTE: Blueberries are another superfruit, being both sweet and nutritious. By adding them to a smoothie bowl, you will not only be adding an array of antioxidants but a vivacious blue colour - making it totally Instagram-friendly! The fruits are rich in Vitamins K and C and full of fibre; thanks to their high level of antioxidants, some nutritionists believe that if you make only one change to your diet, it should be to add blueberries!

2 cups frozen banana
1 cup baby spinach
½ cup almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
To top:
¼ cup mango, chopped
2 strawberries, sliced
1 edible flower, for garnish
Method
In a blender, add banana, spinach, almond milk and butter.
Blend for 5-6 mins, and stir when needed.
Once fully blended, add to bowl, and top with mango and strawberry slices, and an edible flower. Decorate as desired. Serve.

Mango Madness

Ingredients
1 ½ cup frozen ripe mangoes
¼ cup frozen avocado
¼ cup frozen banana
½ cup almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
To top:
1 tbsp granola
5 blueberries, halved
1 strawberry, sliced
¼ cup mango, chopped
Method
In a blender, add mango, avocado, banana, almond milk and butter. Blend for 5-6 mins, and stir when needed.
Once fully blended, add to bowl, and top with granola, blueberry, strawberry and mango. Decorate as desired, and serve.
NOTE: Mangoes taste so good it's easy to forget they are healthy too! Packed with Vitamins A and C, they are an amazing fruit for keeping your immune system healthy and strong. Combining them with avocados, as we do here, will give you a good portion of your daily dose of fibre and potassium - all in one delicious smoothie bowl.

I Love You This Matcha

Ingredients
1 ½ cup frozen banana
½ cup baby spinach
1 ½ tbsp matcha powder
1 tbsp almond butter
¾ cup almond milk
To top:
11 blueberries
? cup mango, chopped
¼ tsp matcha powder
Method
In a blender, add banana, spinach, matcha powder, almond butter and almond milk.
Blend for 5-6 mins, and stir when needed. Once fully blended, add to bowl.
Top with blueberries, mango and matcha powder, and decorate as desired. Serve.
NOTE: Matcha is full of special antioxidants, including a powerful polyphenon called EGCG, which can boost your metabolism - and, according to research, also slow the growth of cancerous cells. Strawberry Surprise

Ingredients
1 ½ cup frozen strawberries
½ cup frozen banana
¾ cup almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
3 pcs pitted dates
To top:
2 strawberries, chopped
2 tbsp granola
1 tbsp walnut, chopped
1 edible flower, to garnish
Method
In a blender, add strawberry, banana, almond milk, butter and dates.
Blend for 5-6 mins, and stir when needed.
Once fully blended, add to bowl, and top with strawberry, granola, walnut and edible flower. Decorate as desired. Serve.
NOTE: Strawberries are not only delicious but extremely good for your health too. Packed with fibre, vitamins and high levels of antioxidants, they are also a low-calorie food and contain no sodium or fat - making them an ideal addition to any sweet and healthy treat. Mixing them up in a smoothie bowl with other goodies such as bananas, almonds and dates - as we've done in this recipe - creates a healthy and filling meal that will keep you full of energy for hours after.

Choco-Haulic
Prep time: 10 mins
Serves: 1
Ingredients
2 cups frozen banana 1 ½ tbsp cocoa powder
4 pcs pitted dates
¾ cup almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
Coconut powder, to top
Method
In a blender, add frozen banana, cocoa powder, pitted dates, almond milk and almond butter.
Blend for 5-6 mins, and stir when needed.
Once fully blended, pour the mix into a bowl.
Top with coconut powder, and decorate as desired (or, as pictured). Serve.
NOTE: This is one for the chocoholics trying to get their daily fix! Cocoa is the perfect way to eliminate sugar cravings. without the sugar. It is rich in polyphenols, which have significant health benefits - including reduced inflammation and improved cholesterol levels.
