My face, neck and hands are darker than the rest of my body. I have combination to dry skin and my skin tone is medium to dark. I only get time to try these remedies over the weekends, as I get home from university at 7pm during the week. Please suggest some simple home remedies accordingly.

You can cleanse your face, neck and hands with aloe vera gel and then apply coconut oil mixed with a few drops of lemon juice to the problem areas. Leave overnight. Do this every day for excellent results.

Grate raw potato and apply it on the dark eyelids. Leave on for 15 minutes. Do this every day, and the skin on the lids will lighten gradually.

I am a 17-year-old teenager. My body is very tanned, plus I have frizzy, curly hair, which is very dry and short. I would love to have long, straight hair. Do you have any suggestions?

Grate coconut and use the milk over the entire body to lighten the tan. The same treatment can be used to treat dry and frizzy hair. Since coconut is very nourishing, it will help with hair growth too.

I am 20 years old, and struggling with whiteheads. How can I get rid of them? Please help me out with a remedy.

A facial scrub twice a week with oats powder, bicarbonate of soda and rose water will help loosen the stubborn whiteheads and smoothen the skin.

My hair is thin and wavy. Do you have a solution for how to grow thicker hair? Please help.

Mix 2 tablespoons of castor oil and 10 drops of rosemary oil with one cup of almond oil. Using just two tablespoons for each application, massage the oil into your hair and leave overnight - or at least for an hour before shampoo. Done twice a week, this remedy has proved very helpful.
