The skin on my palms is beginning to peel - not all over, just in some places. I use a lot of soap but I also use a lot of cream immediately after, so I'm not sure why this is happening. Can you tell me what I can do to get smooth skin again?
- Ramya
Peeling of skin may be due to excessive dryness or anxiety. A regular mask of aloe vera gel applied on palms and rinsed off with tap water will help hydrate your skin. Sprinkle 2 drops of lavender oil on them - which will also calm your anxiety, if any. After every soap wash, apply a few drops of lavender oil on damp hands.
I am a 13-year-old girl and I have very yellow teeth. I want to make them white. My mom does not allow me to use dental floss (as it creates gaps between teeth). Also, I have extra hair on my upper lip and do not want to wax it. Please suggest some easy home remedies.

A piece of advice: flossing makes gums healthy and clears particles of food left overnight, which are a cause of odour in the mouth. Would be a good idea to visit the dentist to get an update on this. I sprinkle a little baking powder to my toothpaste while brushing my teeth for added whiteness. Biting into an apple and, of course, eating fresh fruits daily also gives you sparkling teeth. For your upper lip hair: mix egg white and corn flour, and apply this mask on the upper lip area; scrub off after it dries. The hair will not go off the first time, but a couple of treatments down the line should show good results.
Thanks for your valuable tips every weekend. I am a 29-year-old woman, facing a problem of hair growth on my upper lips; it's getting thicker by the day. Can you please offer a remedy?

Take half a teaspoon of wheat flour and half a teaspoon turmeric powder; mix with rosewater and make a thick mask; apply on the upper lip hair. When dry, scrub against hair growth. Do this thrice a week. You will see good results.

I'm a 13-year-old girl with a lot of pimples and acne marks on my face. Can you give me an effective remedy that is simple and easy? Please keep in mind my skin is very sensitive.
- Ruqaiya
Make a mask combining 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, 9 drops of tea tree oil and a pinch of turmeric powder. Put this in an airtight container, and keep it in the refrigerator. Apply this every day after you are back from school. Mask should be applied on a clean face, and rinsed off after 1 hour with cold water. This mask should last you for a week. (Prepare a week's supply and refrigerate when you run out, and repeat the cycle each time.) Your pimples and acne marks will clear.

I have spots all over my face from pimples, even though I did not break them. These marks are making me very sad. I am 12 years old. Can you help me, please?
- Poornima
Rub a slice of tomato on your face every night before you sleep. Leave overnight. Skin will glow, and your complexion will be clear and smooth. Tomatoes help lighten marks and shrink pores. Done daily, this will help your skin in the best possible way.
