Founder of Tresind restaurant Bhupender Nath on his revolutionary culinary dream, and aspiring to be like the suave British spy
The number one item on your wish list?
Years of travelling have taught me a lot about various cuisines from around the world. As a restaurateur inspired by this culinary knowledge, I wish to invent a very unique, revolutionised dish that reflects elements from across the globe. The concept is still in its ideation stages and very much on paper; our team is working towards it though, and I hope to make it available to our diners at the earliest.
What good deed do you think you could do today?
I believe that good deeds are always going to benefit you, whether it's emotionally, financially, ethically or religiously. It is one of the hidden success factors in life. I love to make people happy and ensure I'm kind and helpful to everyone I meet because, sometimes, you have no idea how much you can impact someone just by being nice. Apart from this, I am associated with various charitable organisations that work for the cause of homeless children.
The biggest learning point or experience in your life?
The point when I realised that there is no substitute for hard work. Through characteristics like hard work and dedication, the sky really is the limit for you.
Your fitness mantra?
To stay happy and eat healthy.
 The first thing you thought about when you woke up this morning?
My family! I am always travelling for work and tend to be away from my wife and kids a lot.
The app on your smartphone that you click on most often.
I think Instagram is my new favourite app because it features mouthwatering images of lovingly prepared dishes and ingredients that look as good as they taste. Being a restaurant owner, the app gives me a great platform to express sumptuous visual treats from my restaurant.
Your greatest fear?
I am a God-fearing person and strongly believe in Him but, as a human being, I am always scared of losing my family - which is my greatest strength and support.
A way in which you are trying to change your life this year?
To be more physically active - as I lead a really hectic and busy routine and usually don't get time to exercise. This year, however, I intend to make time for some regular physical acti-vity as well.
Favourite movie character of all time - and why?
James Bond is my all-time favourite movie character. Bond films are renow-ned for their action, glamour, adventure, drama, fast cars and gadgets. I identify with the Bond character in terms of his persona, wherein he exudes charm, dresses impeccably, looks daring, and is constantly vacationing in exotic places and making a practice of enjoying food and drinks.
If you could have your pick of super-powers, what would you choose?
I would like to be invisible, so I can silently sit back and observe everyone.
