Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is inviting guests to experience summer with a number of memorable experiences such as its kids summer camp, available until August 17. Children between the ages of 8-13 can be a part of the Little Hoteliers experience and participate in all the responsibilities and duties of a concierge, sous chef and engineer. Each student will receive a personalised uniform with a name tag. The programme commences with an orientation session before the work shift begins and breaks for lunch in the canteen, alongside Waldorf Astoria's team. Are you a fan of Bollywood remixes? Celebrity DJ Aqeel is set to perform, after a decade, on August 15 at Club 6, Dubai World Trade Centre from 10pm to 3am. The fun-packed club event will also have Dubai's top Bollywood DJs like DJ Shadow and DJ Zubair mixing things up. Ready, set, go
In Dubai, when it's too hot to work out. you go running in a mall, of course. Dig out your running shoes and prepare for the third edition of the Cigna Park Run at Ibn Battuta Mall, set to take place on August 3. This free family event, held in collaboration with RaceMe, will start at 8.30am at the China Court with a warm-up session by Fitness First.
