What is the number one item on your wish list/to-do list?
Other than for Liverpool to win the Premier League, it would be to sit down on a piano and perfectly play The Piano Man by Billy Joel. I love playing the guitar, but never got around to learning how to play the piano. To sit down at a piano and play that tune is a dream.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
I think having a super power could end up being more of a burden then a power. Having said that, teleportation doesn't sound too bad. I'd never get stuck in traffic, never have to spend time in an airport, or have to rely on couriers. A typical Saturday would be at the beach in Jumeirah, then heading off to watch the match in Anfield and getting back home in time to tuck the kids into bed.
Your fitness mantra?
I ran the RAK half marathon several months ago, so at the time it was about being able to get through that. My wife is really fit - she's now a certified spinning instructor, so she got me into spinning which is a lot more fun then I initially anticipated. The idea of pedalling to get absolutely nowhere did not make sense to me, but it turned out to be a fantastic experience. It's quite an enjoyable form of workout, which is surprising.

What good deed are you hoping to do today?
I don't particularly think about doing one good deed, but more about being good. For anyone who's seen the series Dexter, they'll know about his code. My code is shorter and a lot less violent: be good. One swallow doesn't make a summer and a good deed doesn't mean you can be obnoxious the rest of the time.
The app on your smartphone that you click on most often.
Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a Twitter addict. I've actually made a conscious effort to limit my time on Twitter and focus a bit more on Instagram. You know when something is off when it starts eating up into the number of hours of sleep you get. Twitter is an absolutely fantastic means of obtaining news and real-time information. It's like one massive global conversation.
Your favourite movie character of all time and why?
Without a doubt, Mustafa from the animation of Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, in which I was lucky enough to be involved as an executive producer. Gibran's words are so powerful and Liam Neeson delivers them brilliantly. It's a close one though, between him and Maximus Decimus Meridius from Gladiator.
What's one thing you would like to change in your life?
Not having a UAE driving licence. I've been in the UAE for over a year now and for some reason I just haven't gone and done it. In some ways it's great, because my wife does all the driving. The Uber guys around my neighbourhood love me as well.
What is a major life lesson you've learnt, and what advice would you give others?
It might all sound a little obvious, but I think people tend to forget that life is a journey and not a destination. If you appreciate the moment, you are a happier person. It doesn't mean we shouldn't have goals, but those goals shouldn't stand in the way of why we have them in the first place.
