I am 13 years old and have a lot of pimples on my forehead. I tried some methods and they worked, but the pimples are back again. Please suggest a remedy.

Pimples on the forehead may be due to dandruff. Here's a treatment for both the scalp and the forehead. Make a mask by adding 10 drops of tea tree oil to two tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Mix well, then apply a thin film on the forehead and face; massage the rest into the scalp. Leave on overnight and rinse off the next day. Both areas will be thoroughly cleansed. The hair treatment can be done three times a week but the treatment for the face should be done everyday.

Lately, I have been having terrible hair loss. I feel like if I even touch my hair, I lose a minimum of 30 strands and combing my hair is worse. I also have blackheads on my cheeks and lip line, and hard pimples on my cheeks that leave behind scars. Please recommend natural remedies for these problems.

Excess hairfall may be due to a poor diet, low water intake, sickness, hormonal imbalance (which can be checked by a hormone test), chemical hair dyes, stress or poor circulation. Please check if any of the above apply to you. Steam your scalp every day and massage with aloe vera gel to cleanse and activate circulation. This will arrest hair fall and improve hair growth. Tea tree oil patted on the blackheads and pimples two or three times daily can get rid of pimples and scars. Take aloe vera gel and mix oats powder and a pinch of turmeric. It will help smooth out the skin and clear the marks.

I have been a regular reader of your column for a couple of years now and really love your remedies. I am a 17-year-old girl with multiple beauty issues which are starting to affect my self-confidence. I developed dark circles after I started wearing glasses. I have started getting small bumps on my forehead (which may be due to the fact that I sweat a lot). I have a dark patch around my mouth and would really like to even out the skin tone there. My face gets really dry and I don't know what to do about it. Lastly, I have dark underarms for which I have tried various remedies but nothing has worked. Please recommend solutions for the above.

I'm glad you enjoy my column. For bumps on your forehead, dry skin, dark undereyes and an uneven skin tone, take a grated cucumber and add cornflour and a few drops of lemon juice to it. Apply onto all the problem areas. Use on the undereye area five minutes before rinsing off the mask. For dark underarms, take a slice of tomato and sprinkle a little bicarbonate soda and a pinch of turmeric onto it. Scrub the underarms with this every day and rinse off with cold water. Gradually you will see your skin lighten and clear up.

I absolutely love all your beauty tips, and am a huge fan of your column! I'd love to buy your book. Could you please tell me where I could find one?
