Sonu Sood for Giovanni Bacci

Giovanni Bacci, a leading French-Italian perfume brand, recently announced Bollywood actor Sonu Sood as its brand ambassador.

The announcement comes with the launch of Giovanni Bacci’s latest range of fragrances for men and women. Giovanni Bacci perfumes are exclusively distributed in the region by Shaikh Mohd. Saeed Est. — the Dubai-headquartered retailer and distributor of leading perfume brands from across the world. Giovanni Perfumes will be available at Hunaidi Perfumes, Deira City Centre and all leading stores in the UAE.

Georgia May Jagger for Thierry Mugler

A dazzling rising star in the world of fashion and beauty, Georgia May Jagger was recently announced as the face of the iconic Angel fragrance by Thierry Mugler.

According to the brand, Jagger is the perfect embodiment of the “Beware of Angels” tagline, and will feature in all campaigns for the fragrance on different platforms. The campaign will go live from June 23.

Marge Simpson for MAC

The famous yellow-skinned and blue-haired matriarch seems to have inspired the people at MAC cosmetics, since they will soon be launching a collection inspired by the character.

Not her first stint with fashion and beauty, Marge has previously shared space with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, and been shot “wearing” Yves Saint Laurent and Victoria Beckham. The line, which will be available on shelves in September, will also mark the 25^th anniversary of the show. The specifics on what will be a part of the collection have not been revealed yet.

Beautyworld Middle East 2014

If you are a beauty junkie, you don’t want to miss this three-day extravaganza taking place from 27 to 29 May at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event is open to all, has no entrance fee, and is a one-stop shop for all things beauty — products, services and fragrances. Beautyworld Middle East is the largest international trade fair in the Middle East for beauty, and offers its visitors the convenience of meeting over 1000 companies for three days. Art Without Boundaries

De Art Xpert showcase has been conceptualised by two art aficionados from India and the UAE — Jessie Shrimali and Daxa Khandwala — who are set to bring together exclusive art works from the world’s leading artists in Dubai, later this month.

The exhibition will showcase artworks from world renowned artists including the inimitable MF Husain, Raza, Lalitha Lajmi, Jagannath Paul, Jogen Choudhary, Paresh Maity, Vasudev Kamath, Prithvi Soni, Datta Bansode and much more between May 29 and 31, 2014, at Capital Club in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
