Now, your little one can experience the ultimate storytelling experience, courtesy the professionals. Story Time under the Banyan Tree at Little Explorers Toy Shop, Mirdif City Centre, offers animated story narration for children, till March 29.

Children can now feel the magic come alive as they sit under a majestic tree and are told tales of heroes, princesses and the triumph of good over evil, all from master storytellers. Popular English and Arabic fairy tales, best-selling stories and the latest children’s books will come to life, for 12 kids per 20-30 minute sessions.

Sessions are complimentary for kids aged 5 and above. Friday sessions will take place at 6:30pm & 8:30pm, and 11:30am & 5:30pm on Saturdays, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Delivering Hope

In another interesting Women’s Day happening, you can support a social media campaign by Katch Cares in association with Médicins Sans Frontières (MSF), running till March 8, Saturday.

Spread the message about maternal deaths (one woman every 90 seconds) due to lack of access to medical facilities, by using the #DeliveringHope hashtag. Just post a photo of you with your mom, or any mother you admire, on www.facebook.com/msfuae, along with the following caption: “Women’s International Day is coming on March 8. I want to take this opportunity to thank (mom in the picture) for (state your reason why she is great).

You can also go one step further by making a donation towards stopping maternal mortality on www.msf-me.org/en/donation.
