Q. I am a 20 year old with a serious acne problem for the past 10 years. I have tried many remedies, and thankfully the situation is now under control because of using your honey and cinnamon mask. Unfortunately, I have a lot of scarring which looks terrible. I also have very thin hair, which falls in clumps every time I shampoo or comb my hair. I’ve stopped shampooing, and cleanse my hair with chickpea flour. I use a mix of coconut and castor oil on my hair regularly, but the hair fall isn’t stopping. Please help. — Name withheld
A. Your scars can be gradually smoothened by regularly applying a mask of rice powder, corn powder (in equal measure), and tomato juice. Apply a thick layer, and after 20 minutes, gently scrub with wet fingers. Rinse with chilled water. For your hair cleanse your scalp with 1 tablespoon aloe vera juice mixed with lemon juice. After 30 minutes, apply some coconut oil mixed with castor oil over the mask. You can leave this on for a couple of hours before washing your hair. Follow this routine thrice a week to get quick results.

A. Dark scars can be lightened in two steps. First, rub a slice of tomato on the problem area, and leave it on for 10 minutes. Over this, apply a mask of potato juice, and rinse after 30 minutes. Every night, before you sleep, apply coconut oil over the scars, and you will see a remarkable difference.
Q. I am 21 years old, and I’m losing a lot of hair, plus my hair grows really slowly. I’ve only had this problem since I’ve moved here, because earlier I had long, beautiful and healthy hair. Also, I have an iron deficiency, so I was wondering if this could be a possible cause? — Name withheld
A. Apply a hair mask of one beaten egg, a teaspoon of olive oil, a teaspoon of olive oil, and a teaspoon of limejuice. Apply this well all over —on your scalp and roots, and leave it on for an hour. Shampoo with a fruit based shampoo, and do this routine atleast twice a week to see good results. I also recommend seeing a doctor to get nutritional supplements and make sure you eat a nourishing diet.
