All travel partners, from tour guides to bus operators, are women, creating a safe space for some 'me-time'

How do you typically start your workday?
I wake up around 7am, hug my little ones, wake my husband up and have breakfast as a family. Morning is the most important part of the day, because it sets the tone for the day ahead.
What is your favourite thing about your job?
All my activities - whether at American Aesthetic or Danube Welfare Center, whether related to art, literature or family - are driven by love and passion. My ultimate goal is to bring happiness to people in everything I do. So, I'd say making people happy is my favourite part of the job.
Most challenging experience to date.
I don't usually wait for a problem to become really big before tackling it. I believe in solving issues immediately or as soon as possible - and there is always a solution. It's in the service industry that we tend to face people-related issues. It is an art to handle issues and people. The right approach is to go to the root cause of the complaint, hear both sides of the story and decide how to resolve the issue wisely, while maintaining the happiness of all involved.
What advice would you give your younger self, if you could?
I would say, "Keep doing what you always do," because I feel everything I have done so far is what has led me in the right direction. No regrets!
How do you maintain a work-life balance?
We all get 24 hours; I like to make the most of them. I feel that life is too short to waste time on brooding and sulking, so I give 100 per cent wherever I am, whether at home or at work. Of course, having a supportive family and a good team at work makes that possible. Believe me, we are all capable of much more than we think!
Any advice for youngsters just getting into the professional arena?
Keep your head on your shoulders. Dream big and take one step at a time. It will all become a reality, if you keep going and believe that everything is possible.
Who's your role model as the perfect professional, and why?
I have multiple role models, because I like to learn from everyone. My husband, for example, teaches me a lot with his calm approach to people and problems. My father-in-law is a role model for leadership and as a family head. My parents are models of kindness and humility. And, as an icon, Priyanka Chopra - because she does not stop dreaming or following her heart.
Your greatest dream, professionally.
My dreams and bucket lists are very dynamic; they keep changing as I keep fulfilling and adding new goals. What's big today might be accomplished tomorrow. For now, however, I would like to have a network of healthcare establishments in Dubai where I can provide good quality healthcare to labourers and those in the lower income bracket. I hope that 'tomorrow' comes soon!
