· If you had the means (i.e unlimited budget, time and expertise) to invent one gadget, what would this gadget do?

Friend finder. I don’t mean a social site but a real friend finder. Nowadays even the acquaintances we meet have become our ‘friends’ via social media. This has also become a status symbol so to speak with the friend count showcasing where you stand. I would like a gadget online or otherwise which really counts your friends and lets you know who they are.

· What technology do you imagine in the modern living room, 20 years from today?

I would like the living room to be dynamic — it changes the living room ambience by sensing the owner’s moods. You could come home from a hard day’s work and the room senses your tiredness; the lazy boy opens up, the light adjusts and the music sets itself up for some easy listening. The TV should also sense the mood and rather than provide depressing news should tune into something more suitable. That would be my ideal living room!

· Imagine you’re about to introduce a revolutionary new electronics product to the market. It combines fridge, wardrobe and a built-in tablet touchscreen device. What will you call it?

I ’d call it a Fridglet.
