How do you typically start your workday?
My workday begins with team meetings to discuss and plan the day ahead, review production and discuss new design ideas.

What is your favourite thing about your job?
Being able to make women feel really beautiful and special. I love receiving pictures from clients wearing the outfits we have created for them.

What has been your most challenging experience to date and how did you resolve it?
It was hard to create a range that was so vast it would include all women - regardless of age, body shape and financial status. We worked with women from a wide variety of backgrounds, with varying ages and body shapes, to ensure that our collection has pieces that could make every woman feel special and beautiful.

What advice would you give your younger self, if you could?
To relax more and worry less. Life has a way of taking you where you are supposed to be and, it's a cliché, but everything does happen for a reason!

How do you maintain a work:life balance?
With great difficulty, sometimes! With three children and a fourth on the way, plus three companies between myself and my husband, things can get a little crazy, especially during the week, with work and school! We always try to ensure that we maximise our free time as a family and plan our social life around being able to include the children wherever possible.

Any advice for youngsters just getting into the professional arena?
Be passionate about what you do. The more passion you put into your work, the more successful you will be.

A fictional character you think would make for a good role model - and why?
I think Wonder Woman pretty much symbolises most real women in today's modern world. We are all Wonder Women, juggling our work, home and social lives - and looking pretty amazing whilst doing it!

What is your greatest dream, professionally?
To grow the LAMACE brand globally and to share our diverse collections with women all over the world, whatever their age, body shape or background may be.
