The Arab Coalition Forces supporting the legitimate government of Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia, stressed that they have succeeded, during three years of war in Yemen, in enabling the country's legitimate forces to regain many Yemeni cities and governorates which were controlled by the Houthi militias, while Sanaa is about to be liberated, due to the sacrifice of their own men and their Yemeni counterparts.
An official source from the UAE Armed Forces said they have lost many martyrs but the ties between the UAE and Yemen highlight both their official and social solidarity.
The Coalition Forces have achieved many military successes since the launch of Operation Decisive Storm to defeat the Houthi militias and regain control of the country's southern governorates, including Aden, Lahij, Dhala, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramaut.
It also cleared a coastal strip of over 350km from Aden to the North of Al Khawkhah, expelled the Houthi militias from Bab Al Mandab, and secured an international corridor and the movement of maritime navigation, especially in the Red Sea Coast and the Gulf of Aden.
Abdulraqeeb Fatah, Yemen's Minister of Local Administration and Chairman of the Higher Commission for Relief, said the relief efforts directly supported by the UAE and Saudi Arabia have brought progress and development to the country's liberated areas.
