Qantas has announced that it will offer day-trip packages with ‘mystery flights’, where passengers won’t know the destination of their flight at the time of boarding.

According to a report on BBC News, the Australian airline will offer these flights on one of three Qantas Boeing 737 planes from Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney with economy fares starting at A$737 (Dh2,115).
The all-day package will include activities such as snorkelling on tropical islands and gourmet lunches along with the flight.
These mystery trips were especially popular in the 1990s and seem to be Qantas’ latest bid to woo passengers into flying.
The airline had previously announced in September 2020 that it would offer ‘flights to nowhere’, and tickets for the flights were quickly sold out.
Future phases will be announced to include other services for unmanned aerial vehicle, such as flying operations for amateur individuals
