An Australian mechanical engineer Peter McMahon, has claimed to have located flight MH370 on Google Earth.
The man, who has worked in crash investigations for 25 years, says that the plane is situated 10 miles south of Round Island. He has been extensively observing the pictures of the disappeared plane for four years.
Flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing went missing on March 8, 2014.The flight carried 239 passengers.   
"Four Americans were sent to Australia to oversee the findings of MH370," McMahon told Daily Star Online.
"They have made sure that all information received has been hidden from the public, even our government - but why?"
He says authorities "do not want it found as it's full of bullet holes, finding it will only open another inquiry".
Search operations costing £115m was undertaken by China, Australia, and Malaysia which ended unsuccessfully in January 2017. The 64-year-old McMahon now says he has found the plane.
